Members were impressed with story of Freda Washington, AAUW Educational Foundation Selected Professions Fellow completing her MBA at Washington University in St. Louis.   Ms. Washington earned a BSEE from Tuskegee and a MSEE from Georgia Institute of Technology. She then served 4 years in the US Army.

Using the AAUW Legal Advocacy Fund Readers' Theater, Julie Triplett, Jayne Kasten, Billie Jean Portas, Linda Tinker, and Cecelia McFadden presented the discrimination and harassment stories of some of the plaintiffs who have been funded by the LAF over the past several years.
