Cape Girardeau Mayor 

Jay B. Knudtson signs a proclamation naming November 28, 2006, as AAUW Day, commemorating the Association's 125th anniversary.  Proudly witnessing his signature are Joan Gones (l), president of the Cape Girardeau Branch, and Avon Crocker, membership vice president (r).

Columbia

Celebrated with a proclamation by Darwin Hindman, Mayor of Columbia, and a reading of "Marion Talbot Speaks" at the November meeting.

Creve Coeur

The September kickoff meeting featured a 125th anniversary cake, and the December newsletter included an article on AAUW's beginnings.

Ferguson-Florissant

Gracia Myers led a "Jeopardy" game about AAUW history at the November branch meeting.  With members witnessing, Florissant Mayor Robert Lowery signed a proclamation for "AAUW Day in the City of Florissant" on November 27, 2006.

Independence

The branch celebrated with a reception and  cake on November 28, 2006, followed by an  overview
of AAUW history by Ruth Oberhelman.  Ruby Smith
presented a new identification

Kansas City

Kirkwood-Webster Groves
