The Missouri - Kansas Convention & AAUW-MO Annual Business Meeting

April 20-22, 2007 - Park University, Parkville, MO

Expanding our Legacy of Leadership

Park University and the AAUW Parkville Branch generously agreed to host the 2007 Missouri-Kansas Convention.  University President and CEO Beverley Byers-Pevitts  welcomed AAUW members to the campus and led a very interesting tour through parts of the underground campus. The facility at the College for Distance Learning proved to be an excellent place to hold the convention, and the faculty and staff were helpful and friendly.  Our thanks to Dr. Byers-Pevitts and the Parkville Branch for their part in a successful convention.  (Photo courtesy of Lucy Whitaker)
Special thanks go to Shirley Breeze, Southwest Central regional director, and Marsha Koch, AAUW Missouri program vice president, for their part in the planning and execution of a great convention.  Shirley, a member of the Ferguson-Florissant (MO) Branch, is a past president of AAUW of Missouri, and Marsha, a member of the Kirkwood-Webster Groves (MO) Branch, is president-elect for the coming year (2007-2008).
